The Following "Unusual Rental Items" Are NOT related to Carnival Food Concessions; however, since they really add a true, authentic carnival or circus ambiance, we felt that these remarkable "music oriented" rental attractions should be included within our concessions page...these are somethin' else!

Raffin Street Organ (Monkey Organ)

(Note: The color photo above is NOT the actual rental organ, a color photo of the actual rental organ - currently shown in the blue image above - will be coming soon!)

Ideal for smaller groups or inside functions, no electrical power needed for the Raffin Street Organ.  It can be moved to various locations. We allow people to crank the organ to allow them the experience of playing the organ. (Children are awarded a certificate for this!!)

This is a small, hand-cranked street organ. It has 20 keys, 31 wooden pipes, and is played by a perforated paper roll, like a player piano roll.

This type of portable hand-cranked organ is also known as a Monkey Organ when used by an organ grinder on the street.  In Europe, it is common to see these organs, but unusual in America!   This organ is newly made by the Raffin Organ Company in Uberlingen, Germany.

Circus Calliope

A calliope "makes" a parade!  You can hear it for blocks away!  The calliope we offer is about 70 years old. It has been restored to its colorful red and gold glory -- and its' brassy voice is a real "attention getter".

Only a few of these instruments are now playing in the entire United States. Very few of the present generation have ever heard the exciting music of a calliope.

These instruments were very popular with traveling shows near the turn of the century, and no circus parade was complete without one!
